The paramount ruler of Akungba Community, Oba. Sunday Adeyeye, Ajimo III, has appealed to irate youths in his Kingdom to eschew violence and embrace peaceful dialogue, whether youths took to the streets to express their grievances over allegef police brutality as embodied in the disbanded untoward Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS).
Oba. Adeyeye made the appeal during his visit to some strategic locations in the University community that were blocked by youths who trooped out in their numbers.
"Please eschew violence and embrace peaceful resolution to your genuine demands and fundamental human rights" the Alale advised
He expressed optimism on the arrangements being made by the Federal and State governments to end the conflict.
He, however, called for tranquility, as Ondo state government had imposed a 24 hour curfew in the State.
