EndSARS Protest: Dissolve FEC, Retire IGP, Appoint Youth below 50 into your cabinet -Osigbogun tells Buhari

The chairman, Board of Trustees of Yoruba Koya Leadership and Training Foundation, Otunba Deji Osibogun, has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to dissolve the Federal Executive Council, retire the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu and make an inclusive appointments for the youths into his cabinet. 

Osibogun made the disclosure today in a terse statement titled: 7 point Agenda for Implementation by President Muhammadu Buhari.

The Media Entrepreneur, who is not complacent with the prevailing situations in the country, noted that Nigeria is on the brink of collapse, adding that it behooves the President to embark on a massive cabinet reshuffle. 

According to statement, Osibogun attributed the rationale behind gamuts of protests rocking the country to the failure of the current administration, to Appoint energetic but vibrant youths into some salient positions. 

The statement reads in parts: “Dissolution of Federal Executive Council;  appointment of new ministers especially below the age of 50 into  the vacant positions as this will ensure some level of participation by the youth whereby only competent competitive hands are selected"

"The key Ministries like Housing, Roads, Agriculture, Labour,  Health and Transportation must take a strong delegation of the youths on a verification tour of their project sites and show the status of the projects they have handled while in office".

"The report of the fact finding team will immediately satisfy the yearnings of the people and it will guide future office holders .As President your appointees are your Pride".

Osibogun who is also the Chairman of Space 90.10FM, Ibadan, stressed on the need for President Buhari to meet with the National Assembly as part of the panacea to allow the sleeping dog lies. 

"You need to Immediately address a joint session of the National Assembly on the need for  presentation of a New constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria"

"Urgent reversal of their Resolutions on their salaries and allowances in violation of the Revenue Allocation Formula".

"And Immediate report of all constituency projects by all members of the National Assembly  paid for  by the CBN by the Department of Secret Service DSS. Negative cases are referred to ICPC and Efcc for prosecution in special Corruption and Maladministration Courts set up by the Chief Judge".

Similarly, Osibogun alleged the President of staying aloof from the renowned federal character, noting that appointment of next police boss must be from other regions. 

He, however, asked the President to pull out the APC paper report on restructuring and begin its implementation with a national committee backed by law, adding that he must display his military prowess to tackle infraction do the needful to restore tranquility.
