The General Overseer of Success Gate Cherubim and Seraphim Christ's Church International, Primate Ademisokun Turton, has urged protesters to embrace amicable resolution with the Government over the alleged police brutality that has caused unrest in the country.
Speaking with the our correspondent in Akure, the capital of Ondo state, the cleric noted that destruction of public properties will not bring substantial panacea to their demands.
He explained that youths should choose a representative among themselves to dialogue with government and negotiate.
According to him, he said, "we are complaining that they should End Sars, but I will say that they should allocate seventy percent of employments to the youths and also put to an end to abnormal salary of the elected legislators"
"They can remain on the streets and the dialogue continues so far they are ably represented"
"Although, they are fighting for the interest of everybody, but this is causing problems for the commoners. It's the commoners that bear the excruciating pains. Doctor can't go to work, with those that are on essential duties"
"Many irreparable loss have befell the people, as medical professionals were denied entry to their places of work"
Ademisokun also advocated for restructuring of the country, adding the system to porous"
"We need to embark on restructuring, Do not blame the police, blame all the institutions because corruption has eaten deep, the fabrics of the nation"
"Nigeria need restructuring, we should go back to regional government. Let each region control their resources",he said.
Ademisokun, called on the government to address the needs of the youths to prevent the situation from getting out of control.
He said the lingering#Endsars protest shows people are not complacent the situation of the nation.
"The country political leaders had failed to harness the vast resources of the country for sustainable growth over the years. Time has come for Nigerians to snatch the destiny of the great nation from the claws of enemies of the economy, who had held the country to ransom for too long"
"The youths are agitating for a fresh paradigm shift, They are smart kids and apex government should not misconstrue their ideas"
"This is no longer about EndSARS or EndSWAT, It's about an end to terrorism, Looting, vote trading, bad Leadership and Kidnaping"
He, however, urged the government to address every point in the demands of the protesters.
