Unidentified gunmen have reportedly killed a middle-aged man in Akure.
It was gathered that the unknown gunmen shot the trader in his shop at Sijuade area.
As reported by radio Nigeria, the robbery gang responsible for the murder and said to have operated at Oke – Aro area of the town got to Sijuade around nine o’clock in the evening shooting sporadically before aiming at the trader while some other residents got injured with stray bullets .
The wife of the deceased who also gave account of the incident claimed the robbers did not make any demand before shooting the husband to death.
There have been heighten fears among residents over upsurge in burglars and robberies incidents even as the people just recovered from #Endsars protest hijacked by hoodlums.
