As the year 2020 winds up, the Ondo state Directorate of National Orientation Agency (NOA) has felicitated with the good people of the state during the Yuletide season with a message of hope and admonition to the people to remain steadfast in the pursuit of a better society while celebrating the season with caution due to the prevalent occurrence of the second wave of covid-19.
In a message from the Director overseeing Ondo NOA, Mrs Olawumi Famuyiwa made available to press men in Akure through the agency's PRO, She wished the people a season filled with happiness and merry-making which she described as a season of enjoying the simple things that make life meaningful while ruminating on the blessings of the year. The NOA boss said that the love the season brought forth must be sustained to achieve the desired family bond which in turn guarantee a better society and a new Nigeria of our dream.
She urged the people of the state to adhere strictly with Government directives on Covid-19 protocols and drew the attention of the stakeholders to the urgency of the situation occasioned by the second wave of the pandemic particularly during the festive season. Mrs Famuyiwa stated that Mr Governor has directed that strong measures must be taken to ensure that people are sensitised to observe all the COVID-19 protocols in order to curb the spread of the disease in the new year.
