PDP, SDP, ADC members join APC, declare support for Ipinsagba

Ahead of the 2023 general elections, some members of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) African Democratic Congress (ADC) and Social Democratic Party (SDP), have dumped their parties for the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The defectors who declared their implicit support for the Ondo North Senatorial Candidate of the APC, Pastor Jide Ipinsagba, also vowed to work for the party’s candidates aspiring for other offices.

According to a statement by Pastor Jide Ipinsagba Media Team, the greenhorn joined the ruling party during a political rally led by Ipinsagba and some other party leaders on Thursday in Ese/Afin ward 9, in the Akoko North West Local Government Area of Ondo State.

Receiving the defectors, the Local Government party Chairman, Kehinde Obanla, who assured them of adequate support from the leadership of the party, noted that some fascinating offers would be extended so as to make them relevant in the APC.

Earlier, the Campaign Director General, Rasheed Badmus, reminded the party faithful to get the their Permanent Voter Cards, saying by doing this, it would increase the chances of the party in the forthcoming elections.

However, the Executive Vice Chairman of the Council area, Akinola Adeyanju, also urged APC members to ink their thumbs for Ipinsagba and other candidates, maintaining that the Senatorial Candidate will offer quality representation if elected.
