Lads & Lasses brigade celebrates 10th anniversary in style

It was a red-letter day for members of the African Church Lads and Lasses brigade, as they celebrated the 10th anniversary of the  association in grandstyle. 

The glamorous event which attracted many bigwigs was held at The African Church, St. James Archdeaconry, Akungba-Akoko in Akoko Southwest Local Government Area of Ondo State.

Speaking at the programme themed: “Make Rightful Impact”,  Ven. Sunday Asimolowo urged the congregation to imbibe the kernel of hardwork, adding that faith without work won't yield any positive result.

In his sermon entitled —Faith without work, Asimolowo explained that hardwork cannot be ruled out in the affairs of man, stressing that only a lazy man will embrace the lure of lucre.

Corroborating the words of the Cleric, a renowned legal Practitioner, Bayo Olorunmeke who was decorated alongside others, extolled the lofty ideals of the association, while he commended the Comr. Abiola Egandayo for his efforts to remodel the band.

In the same vein, Lt. Colonel Samuel Olorunmeke advised the Lads and Lasses brigade to live above board and tread the good paths of the founding fathers of the association. 

The highlight of the event includes—Decoration of guests, military exhibition, cutting of cake among others.
