Hon. Ifeoluwa Ehindero, Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on Reformatory Institutions and representative of Akoko Northeast/Northwest Federal Constituency, joined Ondo State Governor Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa in his ongoing campaign tour across Akoko Northwest.
The visit underscored Governor Aiyedatiwa's commitment to directly engaging communities and addressing local needs, a mission that Hon. Ehindero enthusiastically supports.
Hon. Ehindero brought a goodwill message from the Hon. Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, who expressed deep appreciation for Akoko Northwest's steadfast support for the APC.
“The Hon. Minister commends your loyalty and commitment to our party’s principles. Together, we are working towards a unified, prosperous Ondo State under the leadership of Governor Aiyedatiwa, and the minister stands with you as we approach this significant election,” Ehindero conveyed.
In his address, Hon. Ehindero lauded Governor Aiyedatiwa’s leadership and strategic approach to the 2025 budget, which aims to meet the pressing needs of Ondo State's communities.
"Governor Aiyedatiwa has consistently demonstrated his dedication to inclusive governance," Ehindero said.
"His focus on creating a budget that meets the developmental needs of all regions reflects his commitment to our people. I urge the residents of Akoko Northwest to come out in full support on election day to sustain this vision."
Hon. Ehindero also extended his gratitude to local stakeholders, traditional rulers, and community leaders for their unity and unwavering support.
"The unity among our leaders, stakeholders, and every APC member here is truly inspiring. Together, we’re sending a powerful message for the continued advancement of Akoko Northwest," he noted.
Addressing the crowd in Oke Agbe, Governor Aiyedatiwa emphasized his dedication to inclusive governance and outlined the priorities in the 2025 budget, including infrastructure, security, and agriculture.
"We are crafting a budget that reflects our communities' real needs, ensuring no one is left behind,” the Governor said. “I have visited each community to see their conditions firsthand because our government’s actions must reflect ground realities."
The Governor thanked traditional rulers and community leaders for their support, stating that their backing had strengthened his resolve to drive Ondo State’s progress.
“Your support, from the primaries to today, showcases the strength of our shared vision. Together, we are building a brighter future for Ondo State.”
The event also saw the official defection of Mrs. Susan Gbemisola Alabi, former deputy governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), to the APC, symbolizing the increasing unity among political allies.
