BREAKING: University workers set to resume strike over unpaid salaries

There are increasing concerns that the country’s university sector could be paralyzed soon as members of the Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions (NASU) have hinted at resuming their suspended strike due to the Federal Government’s failure to pay four months of withheld salaries.

NASU General Secretary, Prince Peters Adeyemi, shared this development during the ongoing National Executive Council (NEC) meeting in Abuja.

While he did not specify when the strike would begin, it is expected that the union’s leadership will make a final decision during the meeting.

Details later.
