The Fufore Local Government Area (LGA) chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has expressed unwavering confidence in Hon. Barr. Aliyu Boya Wakili, commending his transformative leadership as the Member of the House of Representatives for the Fufore and Song Federal Constituency, as well as his role as Chairman of the House Committee on Police Institutions.
Hon. Boya’s recognition by the APC Fufore chapter highlights his dedication to the people of Fufore and Song. His legislative efforts include sponsoring bills for the establishment of the Federal College of Technology in Song and the Federal College of Education (Technical) in Fufore. These initiatives underscore his commitment to educational advancement in his constituency.
Beyond legislative achievements, Hon. Boya has secured a 20-billion-naira allocation for vital road rehabilitation projects in Jabbi-Lamba, Malabu, and Belel. He also funded the construction of classrooms and offices at GDSS Dadin, Fufore, and Professor Jibril Amin, Song LGA, and sponsored the installation of solar-powered and hand-pump boreholes across Song and Fufore, addressing water access challenges in these communities.
In his efforts to support local youth, Boya initiated a scholarship program for tertiary students in Fufore LGA, organized a free eye medical camp including surgeries, and distributed farm implements, financial support, and palliatives to families and farmers in the region.
One of his major initiatives, the Mega Empowerment Program held on October 5th, provided critical resources to local stakeholders, including cars, tricycles, motorcycles, sewing machines, and food items—furthering his goal of community empowerment.
Today, November 4, 2024, prominent leaders from Fufore LGA, including Hon. Jika Bapetel, Alhaji Abubakar Jijiwa, and Alhaji Bawuro Buba, formally presented Hon. Boya with a vote of confidence, recognizing his outstanding contributions to the constituency.
