A distinguished legal practitioner in Ondo State, Bayo Olorunmeke, Esq., has felicitated the Olubaka of Oka, Oba (Dr.) Adebori Adeleye OON, on the 50th anniversary of his call to the Nigerian Bar.

Olorunmeke shared his well-wishes for the first-class monarch in a brief interview with our correspondent on Friday.

Olorunmeke said, “I extend my heartfelt congratulations to our esteemed Kabiyesi, who was called to the Nigerian Bar in December 1974, and today marks the 50th anniversary of this milestone.

“Before ascending to the throne of his forefathers, Kabiyesi served with distinction in the Lagos judiciary as a Chief Magistrate.

“He also rose to the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police in the Nigeria Police Force prior to his call to the Bar. Immediately after his call, he resigned from the police force and began practicing law before being appointed as a Magistrate in Lagos State.

“To the glory of God, two of Kabiyesi's daughters have followed in his footsteps and become lawyers, with one of them now serving as a Chief Magistrate in the Lagos State judiciary.

“Join me in celebrating our Monarch, Worship, and Patriarch as he marks this golden anniversary of his call to the Bar.

“Kabiyesi ooo. Igi nla abi apa lanti. O sakoko rigborigbo. Inono kuku Alayelua orun Akoko.
