A chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, Olutayo Yomi Victor, popularly known as Daddy Billions, has called on Christians and well-meaning individuals to extend a hand of generosity to the less privileged during the Christmas season.
Olutayo conveyed this message in a statement personally signed by him and shared with newsmen on Wednesday.
The statement was titled Christmas Greetings and Call for Unity.
It reads,"I, Olutayo Yomi Victor, a proud chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, extend my warmest Christmas greetings to all Nigerians.
"This season is a reminder of the love, hope, and sacrifice that our Lord Jesus Christ demonstrated to the world. It is a time to come together, celebrate the gift of life, and renew our commitment to living in peace and harmony with one another.
"As we commemorate this special day, I urge every Nigerian to reflect on the virtues of Christ—love, forgiveness, and unity. Let us make a conscious effort to bridge the gaps of division, embrace one another irrespective of differences, and work collectively for the progress and prosperity of our dear nation.
"The challenges we face as a nation can only be surmounted through unity and unwavering support for one another. I also call on Nigerians to continue supporting the efforts of the All Progressives Congress-led administration at all levels in building a stronger, more united, and prosperous Nigeria.
"As we celebrate this festive season, let us remember to reach out to those in need and extend a hand of generosity. Together, we can foster a spirit of togetherness and make this Christmas truly meaningful.
"Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a New Year filled with peace, joy, and abundant blessings.
