As Ondo State gears up for local government elections on January 18, 2025, Seun Oluwahina Ajongbolo, a former House of Representatives candidate under the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in the 2023 elections and now an active member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has reaffirmed his commitment to the party's success.
Ajongbolo has been instrumental in mobilizing financial and material resources, as well as grassroots support, for APC Chairmanship candidates and the 37 Councillorship candidates across Akoko South West and Akoko South East Local Government Areas.
Speaking in a recent interview, he declared, “As a devoted member of the APC, it is my responsibility to rally support for our candidates and ensure we secure decisive victories in every election.”
Ajongbolo also reflected on his political journey, highlighting his pivotal role in the governorship primaries and his steadfast support for Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa during the elections.
“I threw my weight behind His Excellency’s campaign because of his unwavering love for the people of Ondo State and his dedication to their welfare,” said the Oka Akoko-born politician.
Renowned for his loyalty to the APC and its vision, Ajongbolo remains a staunch advocate for the party’s policies, including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda.
Looking ahead to the local government elections, he said, “My support extends to APC Chairmanship and Councillorship candidates in Akoko South West and Akoko South East Local Government Areas. While Akoko South West is my immediate constituency, my passion for the party drives me to contribute to its success across the board.”
Ajongbolo, a U.S.-based business consultant, urged APC members and supporters to stand united and work tirelessly to secure victory in the elections, underscoring the importance of preserving the party’s legacy.
“It is our collective duty to ensure APC remains the leading political force in Nigeria and continues to uphold its vision as the largest party in Africa,” he concluded.
