Chijioke Ihunwo, Chairman of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area in Rivers State, has appointed 100 more Special Assistants (SAs).
The new appointments were announced in a statement on Saturday, where Ihunwo also congratulated the appointees.
“I have appointed an additional 100 persons as special assistants to help me achieve my plans for my people. Their appointment takes immediate effect,” Ihunwo stated.
This development follows his earlier announcement on January 8, 2024, when he appointed 130 SAs, bringing the total number of SAs under his leadership to 230.
Before the October 5, 2024, local government elections, Ihunwo, serving as the caretaker chairman, had also appointed 100 SAs to his cabinet.
