South West APC Publicists mourn death of Tunde Oladunjoye

Publicity Secretaries of the All Progressives Congress (APC) across the South West have expressed grief over the death of their colleague, Alhaji Tunde Oladunjoye, who passed away on Friday, April 4, 2025, in the United Kingdom after a brief illness.

Until his death, Oladunjoye served as the Publicity Secretary of the Ogun State chapter of the APC and also coordinated the Conference of APC State Publicity Secretaries in the South West.

Describing his passing as shocking and devastating, the group recalled that Oladunjoye appeared healthy and full of life during their most recent meeting.

In a statement signed by the Secretary of the Conference, Alex Kalejaye of Ondo State, the late politician was praised as a seasoned journalist, a courageous democrat, and a devoted party member whose absence will be deeply felt within the APC family.

The publicists also commended the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, for his efforts to save Oladunjoye’s life, noting that the governor made sincere and determined attempts to secure his recovery.

They extended their condolences to Oladunjoye’s family, the Ogun State government, the people of the state, and the Muslim community to which he belonged and served passionately.

The group, which comprises publicity secretaries from Oyo, Ogun, Ondo, Osun, Lagos, and Ekiti States, offered prayers for the repose of his soul, asking Allah to forgive his shortcomings and grant him eternal peace.
